114 Roads Commissioning: Igbogbo/Bayeku Residence Lauds Ambode
In furtherance of the promise of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode to bring governance to the grassroot and as part of the 114 roads completed for commissioning in the 57 Local Government Areas (LGAs) and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in the State, the newly constructed 338m long and 10m wide Alhaji Oseni Street was handed over to the community. Elated residents of Ire Akari Estate Community Development Association of Igbogbo/Bayeku trooped out purposefully to witness the road commissioning in the ancient city of Igbogbo.
His Excellency Akinwunmi Ambode ably represented by Hon. Babajimi Benson reinstates his commitment to a progressive Lagos State and the wellness of the people remains his utmost priority. In his speech “The simultaneous commissioning of the first 114 access and link road projects throughout the state today is another testimony to a better and inclusive tomorrow. Let me therefore appeal to our elders, the youths and indeed the entire residents to guard jealously the infrastructure provided by the Government so that additional projects can come to your communities”.
