iCare FoodBank

The foodbank tagged Apo Anu or Mercy Bag was established on October 16, 2016 to distribute food ingredients monthly to a minimum of five hundred (500) families including elderly people, widows, indigent people and the vulnerable in the society. The foodbank is one of the functional foodbanks in Nigeria and has in the last eighteen 9 years fed about 48,000 vulnerable families in Ikorodu Federal Constituency.

The foodbank project keys into United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 2 aimed to end hunger and all forms of malnutrition by 2030.
