1. Message from the President

President Muhammad Buhari summited the corrected version of 2016 Budget Proposals to the House

2. Announcement

i.) Mr. Speaker notified the House of Vacancy in the seat of Gulani/Damaturu/Tarmuwa held by Hon. Khadija Bukar Abba Ibrahim. The vacancy was as a result of her appointment as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, by President Muhammad Buhari.

ii.) The Adhoc Committee on Constitutional was inaugurated on Thursday, 21 January, 2016.

iv.) Alabi Peter on the termination of his appointment by the Nigerian Communication Commissions;

v.) University Graduates of Nursing Sciences Association on their proper placement in the Healthcare professionals service in accordance with the Public Service Rules;

vi.) Nichodemus Egwuate Eze on allegations of falsification of public records by the petroleum training institute, Effurum, Delta State;

vii.) Jude Okey and Partners on behalf of Sokari anyanwu on the demolition of his property in Gudu District, Abuja by the Development Control Unit of the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA);

viii.) Urgent need for Federal Government’s Intervention in the Management of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) Settlements in Bauchi Metropolis (Hon. Shehu Aliyu Musa)
The House Resolved to:
a. Urge the Federal Ministries of Health, Education, Water Resources, Power, Works and Housing and the Inspector General of Police, respectively to, as a matter of urgency, provide clinics, schools, water supply, electricity and police stations in those IDP’s settlements.
b. Also urge local and international Donor Agencies to also give priority to those settlements when giving any form of assistance to IDPs in the North East; and
c. Mandate the Committee on Internally Displaced Persons, Refugees and Initiatives of the North-Eat to ensure compliance.
